Learner Series – Printing Your Own Book Workshop (#3)

June 18 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

About Our Learner Series: A regular series of events consisting of speakers, training sessions, and workshops to be coordinated by the PCHA. These events will be held at the History Center in Elmwood from 4-5pm, on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptop or tablet to access online resources and to bring examples for relevant sessions to be used as examples in the training.

This workshop will begin in April and run at least six months with one in-person workshop day per month. We reserve the option to extend the workshop beyond 6 months if the attendees decide collectively that more time is needed before being ready to print their books. This long-term workshop format is meant for people that are able to attend all or at least most of the scheduled events from start to finish and then reaching out to Julie or another attendee outside of the workshops to catch up on missed items covered. Please note, this is geared towards individuals with computer skills and experience using MS Word, since the books will be compiled personally by each attendee.  When the workshop is over, each attendee will have their very own bound book, having created and it themselves with skills learned and tools provided.
